This is a remote, contractor role focused on delivering high-quality statistical content and evaluations rather than prior AI experience.
Key Responsibilities- Produce authoritative, accurate, and well-explained responses to advanced statistics queries, prioritizing clarity and depth.
- Review and evaluate statistical data, queries, and proposed solutions for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with current best practices.
- Develop comprehensive explanations and justifications across foundational and specialized statistics topics, tailored for audiences with varying technical backgrounds.
- Create exemplary "golden responses" that serve as benchmarks for model outputs and training datasets.
- Document the context and rationale behind answers to improve model interpretability and support future annotation work.
- Collaborate with annotation leads and project managers to refine project requirements and maintain response quality standards.
- Participate in remote discussions or workshops to clarify objectives and ensure alignment across the contributor community.
- PhD in Statistics or a closely related field, with demonstrated expertise in both core and advanced statistical topics.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex statistical concepts precisely.
- Experience creating, reviewing, or publishing scientific, technical, or educational materials in statistics, for example research articles, curricula, industry reports, or peer reviews.
- Familiarity with sub-disciplines such as probability theory, statistical inference, Bayesian methods, biostatistics, experimental design, or computational statistics.
- Strong attention to analytical detail and commitment to methodological rigor.
- Experience with MySQL and advanced data analysis techniques.
- Background in AI, data annotation, or digital content development is a plus but not required.

Eligibility and Start Timeline- Candidates must be able to work as independent contractors and fulfill the remote collaboration and delivery expectations described above.
- We typically fill roles within 48 hours, and selected experts are expected to start their first tasks within 24 to 48 hours after completing onboarding.
