This is project-based, hourly contract work you can perform remotely alongside other commitments, focused on improving how AI understands energy project development and cost estimation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use your practical experience with energy project estimation, pre-construction planning, and solar design to assess AI-generated content for technical accuracy and relevance.
  • Provide written feedback and annotations that correct errors, clarify assumptions, and reflect real-world workflows and costs.
  • Create or validate training examples based on typical project scenarios, tools, and deliverables you encounter in daily work.
  • Work independently and communicate findings to AI research teams in a clear, professional manner.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in energy project estimation, pre-construction, or solar design in roles such as Estimator, Project Engineer, Pre-construction Manager, Solar Design Engineer, or equivalent.
  • Hands-on familiarity with one or more of these tools: Bluebeam Revu, RSMeans, Aurora Solar.
  • Strong written communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work asynchronously and independently with research teams.
  • No prior AI experience required.
Work Terms
  • Engagement type: part time, hourly contract work as an independent contractor.
  • Location: fully remote, work asynchronously.
  • Schedule: flexible, no minimum hour requirement; most contributors work approximately 5, 20 hours per week while participating in an active project.
