Software Engineer for AI Code Evaluation

Software Engineers based in India evaluate AI-generated code and technical content, providing structured feedback to improve how AI systems understand programming tasks, system design, and engineering best practices.

• Review AI-generated code and technical explanations for correctness, efficiency, clarity, and alignment with real-world engineering practices
• Provide detailed, structured feedback that helps refine AI behavior on programming problems and system-design scenarios
• Design job-related coding questions and test cases that reflect realistic engineering work
• Follow detailed technical guidelines and apply consistent judgment when assessing submissions
• Work asynchronously to complete review tasks and assessments independently

• Based in India, with the ability to work remotely
• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience, internships excluded
• Background in Backend, Frontend, Full-Stack, or Systems engineering
• Strong coding skills in at least one major language such as Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, or Go
• Experience building and debugging production-level code
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed technical instructions
• Strong written communication skills and high attention to detail
• Applicants must pass a coding assessment as part of the selection process

• Engagement is part-time, hourly contract work, not a traditional full-time software engineer role
• Remote and asynchronous, allowing you to work independently from your location in India
• Flexible hours with no minimum commitment to weekly hours
• This is an ongoing, project-based arrangement that can be done alongside primary employment
• Placement into specific projects depends on project availability
• The role is invite-only; acceptance into projects requires selection

• Up to $25/hr (depending on the project)

• Must be located in India
• Professional experience must meet the 2+ years requirement, internships do not count toward this total
• Selection is by invitation and contingent on passing the required coding assessment
