Key Responsibilities
- Contribute expert code samples, debugging strategies, and development insights in Python 3, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex defects and performance bottlenecks across diverse codebases.
- Implement scalable, maintainable features aligned with software engineering best practices.
- Refactor and optimize legacy code to improve clarity, efficiency, and long-term reliability.
- Document technical reasoning, solution approaches, and code decisions to support high-quality AI training data.
- Review and validate peer code and technical submissions for accuracy and clarity.
Qualifications
- Significant hands-on expertise in at least one of Python 3, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
- Demonstrated ability to debug complex systems, resolve bugs, and deliver effective performance optimizations.
- Experience refactoring large codebases and modernizing legacy systems.
- A record of delivering high-impact features from concept through delivery in cross-functional projects.
- Clear public open-source contributions and profiles, such as GitHub or GitLab, preferably demonstrating work in C++, Python, Java, Go, TypeScript, or Rust.
- Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
- Interest in AI technical challenges is valued; prior AI experience is not required.
Work Terms
- Remote independent-contractor engagement supporting an innovative customer project.
- Expected commitment is approximately 15 hours per week.
- Work consists of task-based submissions that must meet project specifications and minimum weekly submission requirements.
- Selected candidates are expected to begin their first tasks within 24 to 48 hours after completing onboarding.
Compensation
- Stated compensation range is $50 to $150 per hour.
- Payment is output-based and issued per task that meets project specifications; completion time varies by experience and workflow.
Application Process
- The selection process includes screening questions, an approximately 30-minute AI interview, a tentative technical assessment, and hiring-manager review.
- This role is currently closed and is not accepting applications.
