Accountant / Auditor

Apply your financial reporting, audit, and tax expertise to help improve next-generation AI systems through rigorous, real-world financial analysis. This remote contract role supports a client project centered on financial oversight and compliance, with no prior AI experience required.

• Review and assess financial statements for accuracy and compliance with GAAP or IFRS.
• Develop and validate financial models using advanced Excel functions.
• Assess and document audit procedures and internal-control frameworks.
• Analyze tax-compliance documentation and confirm alignment with applicable regulations.
• Prepare detailed written reports that summarize findings and recommendations from provided financial data.
• Contribute real-world finance scenarios and case studies that inform AI model development and training.
• Provide concise, constructive feedback on financial documentation and reporting best practices.

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in financial reporting, auditing, or tax compliance.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and international financial reporting requirements.
• Expert Excel skills, including financial modeling and advanced analytical functions.
• Demonstrated experience conducting audits and preparing audit documentation for varied business entities.
• Ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly in well-structured written and verbal communication.
• Experience with process improvement or technology-focused finance projects is a plus.
• CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional certification is highly valued.

• Remote contract engagement.

• $60 to $75 per hour.
