Role Overview
REC Traders apply their practical experience in renewable energy generation, REC trading, and portfolio management to evaluate AI-generated content and create expert training material. This role uses your domain knowledge to check accuracy, relevance, and compliance of AI outputs related to renewable energy workflows.
Key Responsibilities- Review and evaluate AI-generated responses about REC trading, renewable generation, and portfolio management for technical accuracy and regulatory relevance.
- Create expert-level training data based on real-world workflows, systems, and compliance practices from your professional experience.
- Provide clear, detailed feedback that helps improve AI understanding of industry tools, terminology, and common operational scenarios.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in renewable energy generation, REC trading, or renewable portfolio management, in roles such as Renewable Generation Analyst, REC Trader, Renewable Portfolio Analyst, or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following tools: AVEVA PI, WREGIS, Power BI.
- Strong written communication skills, high attention to detail, and comfort working independently in an asynchronous environment.
- No prior AI or machine learning experience required.
- Engagement type: hourly contract work, part time.
- Location: fully remote.
- Schedule: flexible, asynchronous hours with no minimum weekly commitment; contributors typically work approximately 5 to 20 hours per week when an active project is available.
- This is an ongoing, project-based arrangement that can be performed alongside other commitments.
- Placement on specific projects depends on current project needs; contributors may be considered for future projects as they become available.
