REC Trader for AI Model Evaluation

REC Traders apply hands-on renewable energy, REC trading, and portfolio management experience to evaluate AI-generated content and create expert training data that improves AI understanding of renewable workflows and compliance.

• Use your professional experience with renewable generation and REC trading to assess AI-generated responses for technical accuracy and practical relevance.
• Create and annotate expert-level training examples based on real-world tools and processes used in renewable energy operations and REC markets.
• Provide clear, actionable feedback that helps researchers refine AI behavior around renewable portfolio management and compliance practices.

• At least 2 years of professional experience in renewable energy generation, REC trading, or portfolio management in roles such as Renewable Generation Analyst or REC Trader, Renewable Portfolio Analyst, or equivalent energy-industry positions.
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following tools: AVEVA PI, WREGIS, Power BI.
• Strong written communication skills, careful attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and asynchronously with remote research teams.
• No prior AI experience required.

• Location: Fully remote.
• Employment type: Part time, independent contractor, hourly contract work.
• Schedule: Flexible, asynchronous schedule with no minimum hour requirement, most contributors work approximately 5-20 hours per week when participating in an active project.
• Engagement model: Ongoing, project-based work that can be performed alongside other commitments.
• Placement: Assignment to projects depends on current project needs. Contributors may be considered for future projects as new needs arise.

• Up to $85/hr (depending on the project).
