Product Management Specialist for AI Training

Role Overview

Apply product management expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world analysis and written input. This remote contract role supports product development initiatives by turning complex product questions into clear, well-reasoned deliverables. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and synthesize complex product requirements into actionable documentation.
• Draft and review product requirements documents, product specifications, and strategy memos for digital products.
• Evaluate and justify roadmap prioritization decisions using structured, evidence-based reasoning.
• Use product discovery and trade-off analysis to provide concise recommendations for scenario-based tasks.
• Communicate product concepts, frameworks, and decisions in clear, audience-appropriate written deliverables.
• Review product proposals for alignment with stakeholder objectives, user needs, and business goals.
• Contribute product metrics assessments and experimentation insights to continuous-improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on product management experience, including ownership of shipped products.
• Experience producing high-quality PRDs, product specifications, strategy documents, and decision memos.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to distill complex information for varied audiences.
• Proficiency in roadmap prioritization, product discovery, stakeholder alignment, metrics and experimentation, product strategy, and trade-off analysis.
• Exceptional written English and the ability to explain nuanced product concepts clearly.
• Experience with leading technology organizations or top academic programs is highly regarded.
• Experience collaborating with distributed, global teams is a plus.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

• $90 to $140 per hour.
