Role Overview
Lead day-to-day operations for research projects that expand large language model browsing capabilities, ensuring data collection and annotation work meets quality and schedule targets. This role focuses on tracking performance, reviewing contributor output, and managing communications so LLM training efforts run reliably from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities- Track project and annotator performance using Google Sheets, maintaining up-to-date metrics and status tracking.
- Review annotator output for quality and consistency, flagging issues and coordinating improvements.
- Handle contributor communications, including onboarding instructions, feedback, and status updates.
- Coordinate operational tasks to support annotation workflows and project timelines, including ad hoc troubleshooting and escalation.
- Own unfamiliar problems through investigation and follow-through until resolution, collaborating with researchers and engineers as needed.
- Proven ability to organize complex work, with strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
- High personal agency, able to take ownership and drive tasks to completion without detailed hand-holding.
- Experience reviewing or managing annotation or contributor quality, including spot checks and feedback loops.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, especially Google Sheets, to track metrics and status.
- Operations or project management background preferred, but not required if you can demonstrate the ability to pick up unfamiliar problems and own them end to end.
- Interest in and commitment to the success of LLM training projects and data quality.
Remote position. Employment type: hourly.
CompensationPay range: 50 to 60 hourly.
