Physicist for AI Model Training (High Energy / Mathematical Physics)
$80–$160/hr
About this role
Apply advanced research-level knowledge of holography and AdS/CFT to formulate, verify, and adjudicate technical solutions that will be used to train and evaluate next-generation AI models. This remote, contractor engagement focuses on holographic Weyl anomalies, on-shell gravitational actions, and boundary curvature invariants in dimensions d ≤ 8. Participants may be assigned as a Solver, Auditor, or Adjudicator based on subfield fit and proven hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze research-level problems involving the AdS/CFT correspondence and on-shell gravitational actions.
- Work in Weyl-Fefferman-Graham gauge frameworks to derive or check expressions and manipulations.
- Formulate or verify complex tensor algebra, especially expressions for boundary curvature invariants in dimensions up to d ≤ 8.
- Develop, review, or adjudicate solutions and benchmarks related to holographic Weyl anomalies and related mathematical physics problems.
- Produce clear, precise written explanations of technical reasoning suitable for use in model training and evaluation.
- Advanced expertise in high energy theory or mathematical physics with direct experience in AdS/CFT, gravitational actions, and holographic dualities.
- Extensive familiarity with Weyl anomalies, the Fefferman-Graham expansion, and higher-dimensional boundary curvature invariants.
- Strong command of tensor algebra and differential geometry and practical facility performing tensor computations and manipulations.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex scientific ideas clearly in written and verbal form.
- Role type: Independent contractor, remote.
- Assignments may include Solver, Auditor, or Adjudicator roles; placement depends on subfield fit and documented hands-on experience.
- No prior experience in AI is required; domain expertise is the primary qualification.
- Hourly pay range: $80.00 to $160.00 per hour.
- This is a contractor engagement performed remotely. Candidates must be able to engage under independent contractor terms.
If this opportunity matches your background, indicate your interest through the listing''s application mechanism and provide a summary of relevant experience in AdS/CFT and holographic methods so your fit for Solver, Auditor, or Adjudicator assignments can be evaluated.
