Chemical Engineer for AI Model Evaluation

Provide expert chemical engineering knowledge to evaluate and improve AI systems, ensuring domain accuracy and practical usefulness. You will review AI-generated content, answer technical questions, and share real-world practices, tools, and standards used by chemical engineers.

• Review and assess written content and AI responses in chemical engineering for technical accuracy and quality.
• Answer domain-specific questions with clear, well-reasoned explanations grounded in professional experience.
• Identify and recommend authoritative reference material relevant to chemical engineering topics.
• Explain typical tools, workflows, and standards used in chemical engineering practice, including process safety and operations.
• Collaborate with a small group of subject-matter experts across related fields to provide consistent, actionable feedback.

• US Professional Engineer, PE, license required.
• Minimum 2 years of professional chemical engineering experience, preferably spanning multiple areas such as process design, process safety, and plant operations.
• Familiarity with process safety standards, for example OSHA Process Safety Management and API guidance.
• Experience with process simulation or engineering tools such as Aspen, MATLAB, or similar.
• Experience authoring process documentation, standard operating procedures, or technical training materials is a plus.
• Comfortable using everyday AI tools such as ChatGPT or equivalent.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

• Part-time, flexible engagement, approximately 10 hours per week.
• Fully remote, must be based in the United States.
• Hourly employment, with the employer of record providing W-2 employment, payroll, benefits, and compliance.

Hourly pay range 65 to 90 per hour.

• Must reside in the United States.
• Must hold a US PE license in chemical engineering.
• Must be able to commit reliably to about 10 hours per week.
