Apply your chemical engineering expertise to help improve AI systems used for chemical engineering research and development. In this remote, part-time role, you will assess technical content, answer domain-specific questions, and provide practical feedback that makes AI tools more accurate, reliable, and useful.
Key Responsibilities- Review written content and AI-generated chemical engineering responses for technical accuracy and quality.
- Answer questions and provide clear, well-reasoned feedback based on professional experience.
- Identify useful reference materials relevant to chemical engineering.
- Share practical insight into chemical engineering tools, workflows, and day-to-day standards.
- Collaborate with a small group of subject-matter experts from different fields.
- Degree-qualified chemical engineer with an active U.S. Professional Engineer, PE, license.
- At least 2 years of professional chemical engineering experience, ideally spanning multiple areas such as process design, process safety, or plant operations.
- Familiarity with process safety standards, including OSHA PSM and API, and process simulation tools such as Aspen, MATLAB, or similar tools.
- Experience writing process documentation, SOPs, or technical training materials is preferred.
- Comfort using everyday AI tools, such as ChatGPT or similar tools.
- Based in the United States with professional working English.
- Fully remote, flexible part-time engagement.
- Commit reliably to approximately 10 hours per week.
- Hourly W-2 employment, with payroll, benefits, and compliance support.
- $65 to $90 per hour.
