About this role

Role Overview

Nursing undergraduates apply clinical knowledge and patient-care experience to develop, test, and improve large language model outputs for nursing and healthcare topics. You will work remotely and asynchronously to create domain-specific prompts, evaluate model responses, and research nursing concepts that help shape safer, more accurate AI behavior.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and refine nursing and healthcare prompts to elicit accurate model outputs.
  • Evaluate and rate language-model responses for clinical correctness, clarity, and usefulness.
  • Research nursing topics and source evidence to inform prompt design and response evaluation, using AI tools as an assistant when appropriate.
  • Provide domain-specific feedback that helps improve model understanding of nursing concepts and workflows.
  • Complete assigned project tasks and deliverables independently on an asynchronous schedule.
Qualifications
  • Must be a current undergraduate student in nursing.
  • Comfortable doing primarily asynchronous work and collaborating with research teams and AI labs through remote workflows.
  • Confidence that your nursing expertise can outperform current AI systems in explaining and applying key nursing concepts.
  • Interest in learning new skills while contributing to AI development across healthcare domains.
Work Terms
  • Location: Remote.
  • Employment type: PART_TIME.
  • Work is asynchronous and independent, with flexible hours and no minimum weekly commitment required.
  • Work from anywhere, completing tasks and project deliverables on your own schedule, subject to project timelines.
  • The program runs year-round, however placement into specific projects depends on availability by domain and timing.
Compensation
  • Up to $50/hr (depending on the project)
Eligibility
  • F-1 students who are eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible to participate, but you must consult your Designated School Official to confirm eligibility.
  • If your school requires enrollment in a CPT course for CPT approval, this program may not meet that requirement.
  • STEM OPT is not supported.
Application Process
  • Create an account and provide the required identity verification information.
  • Review and join projects that match your nursing background, complete any project-specific onboarding, and accept assignments.
  • Begin completing project tasks and receive compensation according to the project terms.
