About this role
Ophthalmologists leverage their clinical expertise to support AI research through flexible, project-based contract work. This role is distinct from traditional clinical positions, allowing you to utilize your real-world experience to evaluate AI-generated content and provide valuable feedback that enhances AI''s understanding of ophthalmic concepts and workflows.
Key Responsibilities- Design job-related questions based on your professional experience as an Ophthalmologist.
- Review AI-generated responses for accuracy, clarity, and appropriateness in general, non-patient-specific ophthalmology contexts.
- A minimum of 4 years of post-training professional experience practicing ophthalmology.
- Hands-on experience in diagnosing and managing eye conditions, performing ophthalmic procedures, and communicating clinical information effectively.
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while following written guidelines.
- Professional judgment, reliability, and a commitment to confidentiality, especially with sensitive information.
- Status: Independent contractor (not a full-time employee role).
- Location: Fully remote; work from anywhere with a reliable internet connection and access to a desktop or laptop computer.
- Schedule: Flexible and asynchronous, with no minimum hour requirement. Many contributors work approximately 5, 20 hours per week when assigned to an active project.
- Duration: The program runs year-round, with projects opening periodically across different areas of expertise.

EligibilityF-1 students eligible for CPT or OPT may qualify for projects. Consult with your Designated School Official to determine eligibility. Note that STEM OPT is not supported.
