About this role

Role Overview

Medical professionals apply their clinical and practice expertise to evaluate outputs from AI models, assess field-specific content, and provide clear, structured feedback that improves model performance on medical tasks and language.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate AI-generated content related to your medical specialty.
  • Develop prompts that reflect real-world clinical scenarios and workplace language.
  • Assess model responses for clinical accuracy, relevance, and safety.
  • Provide clear, structured feedback and annotations to help models learn domain-appropriate behaviors.
  • Contribute periodically to projects across different areas of medical expertise as opportunities arise.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in one or more of the following roles: Pediatricians, General; Neurologists; Ophthalmologists, Except Pediatric; Anesthesiologists; Diagnostic Medical Sonographers; Psychiatrists; Pharmacists.
  • Comfortable working asynchronously and collaborating with external AI research partners.
Work Terms
  • Location: Remote, work from any location.
  • Employment type: Part-time, temporary hourly engagements.
  • Schedule: Asynchronous and flexible, no minimum weekly commitment. Most contributors average 5 to 20 hours per week.
  • Project availability: The program runs year-round and new project opportunities open periodically. Placement into specific projects depends on current project needs and availability.
Compensation

Up to $300/hr (depending on the project)

Eligibility and Work Authorization
  • F-1 students who are eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible to participate, but you must confirm eligibility with your Designated School Official.
  • If your school requires that CPT be associated with a course, this program may not meet that requirement.
  • STEM OPT is not supported for participation.
  • Refer to the program help center or support documentation for full details on supported work authorizations.
Application Process

To apply, create a contributor profile, complete identity verification, and join onboarding for projects that match your specialty. After onboarding, you may be invited to participate in available assignments and will begin completing tasks and receiving payment for hours worked.
