About this role

Role Overview

Medical professionals apply clinical and workplace expertise to evaluate AI-generated content in their specialty, assess field-specific materials, and provide clear, structured feedback that improves model performance on medical tasks and language. This hourly, temporary AI research engagement runs year-round, with project opportunities opening periodically across specialties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate outputs produced by AI models for clinical accuracy, relevance, and safety.
  • Assess and annotate content related to your area of practice, including clinical scenarios, documentation, and patient-facing language.
  • Design and refine prompts that reflect real-world medical tasks and terminology.
  • Deliver clear, structured feedback and examples that help models better represent workplace tasks and professional language.
  • Work asynchronously on assigned tasks and follow project guidelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in one or more of the following roles: Pediatricians, General; Neurologists; Ophthalmologists, Except Pediatric; Anesthesiologists; Diagnostic Medical Sonographers; Psychiatrists; Pharmacists.
  • Comfort participating in asynchronous work and collaborating with AI research teams.
Work Terms
  • Employment type: Part-time.
  • Location: Remote, asynchronous work, perform tasks independently from your location.
  • Schedule: Flexible hours with no minimum commitment; most contributors average 5 to 20 hours per week on active projects.
  • Project placement depends on availability, projects open periodically across different areas of expertise.
Compensation
  • Pay: Up to $300/hr (depending on the project).
Eligibility
  • F-1 students who are eligible for CPT or OPT may qualify for projects. Work with your Designated School Official to confirm eligibility.
  • If your school requires enrollment in a CPT course, this program may not meet those course requirements.
  • STEM OPT is not supported.
  • Refer to the program help center for more details on supported work authorizations.
