Neurologist for AI Model Evaluation

Neurologists apply their clinical expertise to evaluate AI-generated neurology content, judging accuracy, clarity, and appropriateness in general, non-patient-specific contexts. This part-time, project-based role uses real-world neurology experience to improve how AI systems understand neurological concepts, workflows, and professional medical language.

This is a remote, hourly contract role for practicing or recently practicing neurologists who want flexible, part-time work that can run alongside primary employment. Assignments involve reviewing AI outputs, creating clinically realistic questions or prompts, and giving targeted feedback to refine AI performance in neurology-related tasks.

• Review AI-generated clinical scenarios, explanations, and documentation for factual accuracy and clinical appropriateness in non-patient-specific contexts
• Provide clear, detailed feedback on errors, omissions, tone, and usefulness of AI outputs
• Design job-related or clinical-style questions and prompts based on real-world neurology practice
• Follow written guidelines for evaluation tasks and complete assigned reviews within project timelines
• Maintain professional discretion with any proprietary or sensitive materials encountered during reviews

• 4+ years of post-training professional experience practicing neurology
• Current or recent roles may include general neurologist or subspecialists such as epilepsy, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular, stroke, headache, or cognitive and behavioral neurology
• Consultant, attending, or academic neurologists who combine clinical practice with teaching or research are encouraged to apply
• Hands-on experience evaluating and managing neurological conditions, coordinating care, and communicating clinical information to patients and clinicians
• Strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
• Professional judgment, reliability, and high standards of discretion and confidentiality
• No prior AI or technical experience is required

• Employment type, status: Part time, independent contractor
• Location: Fully remote; work from anywhere with a reliable internet connection using a desktop or laptop computer
• Schedule: Flexible and asynchronous, with no minimum hour requirement. Many contributors work approximately 5 to 20 hours per week when assigned to an active project
• Duration and availability: Projects are opened periodically throughout the year. Placement on active projects depends on current needs, and qualified applicants may be considered for future projects as they become available

• Pay rate: Up to $300/hr (depending on the project)
• Payment model: Hourly contract compensation, paid per project assignment

• This role is open to professionals who can work as independent contractors
• F-1 students with eligible CPT or OPT authorization may be able to participate. Work with your Designated School Official to confirm eligibility, since some schools require a CPT course or have other rules; STEM OPT is not supported
