Role Overview
Evaluate outputs from generative music AI models in Vietnamese and English, applying professional music production and audio engineering judgment to assess lyrics, vocal generation, composition, and mix quality across multiple genres.
Key Responsibilities- Listen to and evaluate AI-generated music samples, including lyrics and synthesized vocals.
- Rate paired samples head-to-head on musicality, creativity, adherence to the prompt, vocal quality, and production or mix quality, using audio-engineering terminology.
- Score the quality of musical training data used to inform models.
- Annotate songs in detail using a structured taxonomy, including genre and sub-genre classification, song structure, and vocal and instrumental characteristics.
- Write and assess music in Vietnamese, and follow written or spoken directions delivered in English.
- At least 3 years of experience working as a music producer, audio engineer, and or sound mixer.
- Demonstrated understanding of musical performance, music theory, and lyric writing.
- A college degree in music that included performance, theory, and lyric coursework.
- Past experience writing lyrical music in Vietnamese.
- Native or near-native proficiency in Vietnamese and English, able to understand directions in English and perform bilingual evaluations.
- Remote engagement.
- Hourly employment type.
- Start date: Immediate.
- Duration: Up to 6 months.
- Time commitment: Part-time, minimum 10 hours per week.
- Hourly rate: 13.01 to 23.43 hourly.
- Must have native or near-native proficiency in both Vietnamese and English.
- Must be able to perform work remotely and commit to the stated part-time hours.
