About this role

Work directly with generative music systems by listening to and evaluating AI-produced songs in Thai and English, producing detailed annotations and technical ratings that guide model improvements. This role combines musical judgment, audio engineering vocabulary, and lyrical knowledge to assess quality across lyrics, voice, mix, and musical structure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Listen to and evaluate AI-generated music and lyrics across multiple musical categories in Thai and English.
  • Rate outputs head-to-head on musicality, creativity, adherence to prompts, vocal quality, and production or mix quality, using audio engineering terminology.
  • Score the quality of musical training data used to train models.
  • Annotate songs in detail using a structured taxonomy, including genre and sub-genre classification, song structure, and vocal and instrumental characteristics.
  • Write and assess lyrical music in Thai, demonstrating domain writing experience.
  • Follow written and spoken instructions provided in English.
Qualifications

  • At least 3+ years experience working as a music producer, audio engineer, and or sound mixer.
  • Evidence of understanding musical performance, music theory, and lyrics.
  • College degree in music that included performance, theory, and lyric study.
  • Demonstrated past experience writing lyrical music in Thai.
  • Native or near native proficiency in Thai and English, with the ability to understand directions in English.
Work Terms

  • Location: Remote.
  • Employment type: Hourly.
  • Start date: Immediate.
  • Duration: Up to 6 months.
  • Commitment: Part time, 10+ hours per week.
Compensation

  • Rate: 13.01 to 23.43 hourly.
