Role Overview
Evaluate generative music AI outputs in Punjabi by applying music production, audio engineering, and songwriting expertise. You will compare, score, and annotate AI-generated music and lyrics across musicality, vocal quality, and production to help improve model performance.
Key Responsibilities- Listen to and evaluate AI-generated lyrics and voice generation across music categories in Punjabi.
- Score the quality of musical training data and AI outputs against defined standards.
- Rate AI-generated music samples head-to-head on musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production and mix quality, using audio-engineering terminology.
- Annotate songs in detail using a structured taxonomy, including genre and sub-genre classification, song structure, and vocal and instrumental characteristics.
- Provide written assessments and metadata that reflect songwriting and production expertise in the domain language.
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a music producer, audio engineer, and/or sound mixer.
- Demonstrated understanding of musical performance, theory, and lyrics.
- College degree in music that included coursework or training in performance, theory, and lyrics.
- Practical experience writing lyrical music in Punjabi.
- Native or near-native proficiency in Punjabi and English, with the ability to understand directions given in English.
- Location: Remote.
- Employment type: Hourly.
- Start date: Immediate.
- Duration: Up to 6 months.
- Commitment: Part-time, minimum 10+ hours per week.
- Pay range: 10.8 to 19.44 per hour.
- Must be able to read, write, and produce music in Punjabi and follow directions in English.
