Role Overview
Evaluate AI-generated music outputs across a wide range of genres, using your production and critical listening skills to rate musicality, creativity, vocal performance, and production quality. Work in Malayalam and English to provide detailed, structured feedback that helps improve generative music models for a leading AI research lab.
Key Responsibilities- Listen to and compare pairs of AI-generated songs head-to-head, rating musicality, creativity, adherence to prompts, vocal quality, and production and mix quality.
- Label tracks with metadata such as genre, song structure, instruments present, vocal type, and other musical characteristics.
- Review AI-generated lyrics and vocal performances against provided reference material, judging quality and accuracy.
- Native or near-native proficiency in Malayalam, with the ability to follow detailed written instructions in English.
- At least 2 years of professional experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer.
- Reliable critical listening setup, such as headphones or studio monitors suitable for evaluation work.
- Nice to have: formal training in performance, music theory, or composition.
- Nice to have: credited or commercially released production, engineering, or mixing work.
- Nice to have: broad familiarity with contemporary Malayalam genres, sub-genres, and artists.
- Location: Remote.
- Employment type: hourly.

- Duration: up to 6 months.
- Commitment: flexible. Most experts work around 20 hours per week, there is no hard cap on hours available.
Rate: 15 per hour.
Eligibility- Ability to read and evaluate content in Malayalam and follow English instructions is required.
- Access to suitable headphones or studio monitors for critical listening is required.
