Role Overview
Evaluate AI-generated music and training data in Korean and English, providing detailed ratings and annotations that help improve generative music models developed in partnership with a leading AI lab. This role combines musical judgment, lyrical knowledge, and audio-engineering vocabulary to assess vocal and production quality across multiple genres.
Key Responsibilities- Listen to and evaluate AI model outputs, including lyrics and voice generation, across different music categories
- Score the quality of musical training data used to train models
- Rate AI-generated music samples head-to-head on musicality, creativity, adherence to prompts, vocal quality, and production and mix quality, using audio-engineering terminology
- Annotate songs in detail using a structured taxonomy, including genre and sub-genre classification, song structure, and vocal and instrumental characteristics
- Produce written musical content in the domain language listed in the title as required by evaluation tasks
- Follow directions provided in English for evaluation tasks and guidelines
- At least 3+ years of professional experience as a music producer, audio engineer, and/or sound mixer
- Demonstrated understanding of musical performance, theory, and lyrics
- College degree in music that included coursework or training in performance, theory, and lyrics, preferred
- Experience writing lyrical music in Korean, the domain language for this role
- Native or near-native proficiency in both Korean and English, and the ability to understand written and spoken directions in English

- Commitment: Part-time, 10+ hours per week

Hourly rate: 34.72 - 62.49 hourly
