Role Overview
Assess AI-generated music in Italian and English by listening critically across genres and formats, rating outputs against detailed musical quality standards. Your judgments will guide improvements to generative music models by evaluating musicality, creativity, vocal and lyrical quality, and production accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- Compare pairs of AI-generated songs head-to-head, scoring musicality, creativity, adherence to the prompt, vocal performance, and production or mix quality.
- Label tracks for genre, song structure, instrumentation, vocal presence and type, and other musical characteristics.
- Examine AI-generated lyrics and vocal performances against reference material to judge quality, accuracy, and coherence.
- Native or near-native proficiency in Italian, with the ability to follow detailed written instructions in English.
- At least 2 years of professional experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer.
- Access to headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.
Preferred
- Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition.
- Credited or commercially released production, engineering, or mixing work.
- Familiarity with contemporary Italian genres, sub-genres, and artists.
- Location: Remote.
- Employment type: Hourly.
- Start date: Immediate.
- Duration: Up to 6 months.
- Commitment: Flexible. Most experts work around 20 hours per week; there is no cap on hours.
- Paid hourly, rate range: 20 - 36 hourly.
- Ability to work in Italian at native or near-native level is required.
- Must be able to read and follow detailed instructions written in English.
