Role Overview
Evaluate outputs from generative music AI models in Indonesian and English, providing detailed, technical judgments on lyrics, vocal synthesis, arrangement, and production. Your assessments will help improve model quality and training data by scoring samples, annotating musical attributes, and comparing samples head to head using audio engineering vocabulary.
Key Responsibilities- Listen to and evaluate AI-generated music across multiple categories, with judgments in Indonesian and English.
- Assess lyric content, voice generation quality, and other model output standards.
- Score the quality of musical training data used to train models.
- Rate AI-generated music samples head to head on musicality, creativity, adherence to prompts, vocal quality, and production and mix quality, using audio engineering terminology.
- Annotate songs in detail using a provided taxonomy, including genre and sub-genre classification, song structure, and vocal and instrumental characteristics.
- Write music in the domain language as required for evaluation tasks.
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a music producer, audio engineer, and/or sound mixer.
- Demonstrable understanding of musical performance, music theory, and lyrics.
- College degree in music that covers performance, theory, and lyrics.
- Past experience writing lyrical music in Indonesian.
- Native or near-native proficiency in both Indonesian and English, and ability to understand directions provided in English.
- Location: Remote.
- Employment type: Hourly.
- Start date: Immediate.
- Duration: Up to 6 months.
- Commitment: Part-time, minimum 10 hours per week.
- Hourly rate: 11.42 to 20.55 hourly.
- Native or near-native proficiency in Indonesian and English is required.
- Must be able to follow directions given in English.
