Role Overview
Work with a leading AI lab to evaluate outputs from generative music models in German and English. This role focuses on listening, scoring, and annotating AI-generated music and lyrics across genres, using music production and audio engineering vocabulary to provide detailed, structured feedback.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate AI model outputs, including lyrics, voice generation, and overall musical quality.
- Score the quality of musical training data used by models.
- Create and assess lyrical music written in the domain language listed in the title.
- Follow directions given in English and apply them to evaluations performed in German.
- Compare AI-generated music samples head-to-head, rating musicality, creativity, adherence to prompts, vocal quality, and production or mix quality, using audio engineering terminology.
- Annotate songs in detail using a structured taxonomy, including genre and sub-genre classification, song structure, and vocal and instrumental characteristics.
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a music producer, audio engineer, and/or sound mixer.
- Demonstrable understanding of musical performance, music theory, and lyrics.
- College degree in music that includes coursework or training in performance, theory, and lyric writing.
- Proven experience writing lyrical music in German.
- Native or near-native proficiency in both German and English.
- Location: Remote.
- Employment type: Hourly.

- Duration: Up to 6 months.
- Commitment: Part-time, minimum 10 hours per week.
- 32.48 - 58.46 hourly.
- Must be able to read, write, and produce music in German.
- Must understand instructions given in English.
