Role Overview
Evaluate outputs from generative music AI models by listening, comparing, and annotating samples in Dutch while following directions in English. You will assess lyrics, vocal generation, musicality, creativity, and production quality to help improve model performance across multiple music categories.
Key Responsibilities- Listen to and evaluate AI-generated lyrics, vocal performances, and produced tracks, scoring them against defined quality standards.
- Rate AI-generated music samples head-to-head on musicality, creativity, adherence to the prompt, vocal quality, and production and mix quality, using audio-engineering terminology.
- Score the quality of musical training data and provide detailed annotations.
- Annotate songs using a structured taxonomy, including genre and sub-genre classification, song structure, and vocal and instrumental characteristics.
- Write music in the domain language indicated in the title, and apply that experience when judging lyrical and compositional quality.
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or sound mixer.
- College degree in music, including coursework or training in performance, theory, and lyrics.
- Demonstrable understanding of musical performance, theory, and lyric writing.
- Past experience writing lyrical music in Dutch.
- Native or near-native proficiency in Dutch and English, with the ability to understand directions given in English.
- Location: Remote.
- Employment type: Hourly contract.
- Start date: Immediate.
- Duration: Up to 6 months.
- Commitment: Part-time, minimum 10 hours per week.
- Hourly rate: 33.6 to 60.48 per hour.
- Native or near-native fluency in Dutch and English is required.
