Role Overview
Evaluate and annotate AI-generated music in Arabic and English, providing detailed technical and creative feedback to improve generative musical models. This role focuses on listening, comparing, and scoring samples for musicality, vocal performance, lyrics, production, and adherence to prompts, then recording structured annotations that inform model training.
Key Responsibilities- Listen to and evaluate AI model outputs, including lyrics and voice generation, across multiple music categories and genres.
- Score the quality of musical training data and AI-generated samples using defined rubrics.
- Rate pairs of AI-generated music samples head-to-head on musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production and mix quality, applying audio engineering terminology.
- Annotate songs in detail using a provided taxonomy, including genre and sub-genre classification, song structure, and vocal and instrumental characteristics.
- Write or assess lyrical music in Arabic as required by tasks.
- Follow directions and task instructions presented in English.
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a music producer, audio engineer, and or sound mixer.
- Demonstrable understanding of musical performance, music theory, and lyrical composition.
- College degree in music that includes coursework or experience in performance, theory, and lyrics.
- Past experience writing lyrical music in Arabic.
- Familiarity with audio engineering and production terminology and practices.
- Location: Remote.
- Engagement: Hourly, part-time.
- Start date: Immediate.
- Duration: Up to 6 months.
- Expected commitment: 10+ hours per week.
Paid hourly, rate range 12 - 44.25 hourly.
Eligibility- Native or near-native proficiency in Arabic and in English.
- Must be able to understand task directions provided in English.
