Role Overview

Evaluate generative AI music across a broad range of genres, using Tamil and English to assess outputs against detailed quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Compare AI-generated lyrics with published songs to identify similarities.
• Rate lyrics for quality, creativity, prompt adherence, and originality.
• Assess whether lyrics sound natural, including word choice, slang, and regional expressions.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Tamil proficiency and the ability to follow detailed written instructions in English.
• Experience as a songwriter, lyricist, performer, composer, or music journalist, with knowledge of the Tamil music scene.
• Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.
• Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition is a plus.
• Credited or published songwriting work is a plus.
• Broad familiarity with contemporary Tamil genres, sub-genres, and artists is a plus.

Work Terms

• Remote, hourly independent contractor engagement.
• Immediate start, with a project duration of up to six months.
• Flexible commitment. Most experts work about 20 hours per week, with no cap on hours.

Compensation

• $15 to $19 per hour.
• The role is currently paid hourly. If payment moves to a per-task structure during the project, the effective hourly rate will remain the same.
