Energy Industry Professional for AI Model Evaluation

Meter Data Analysts apply their utility metering, customer operations, and billing systems expertise to evaluate AI-generated content and produce expert training data that improves AI understanding of utility workflows and customer data management. This is a flexible, project-based, hourly contract engagement you can perform alongside other commitments. No prior AI experience is required.

• Use hands-on experience with utility metering, customer operations, and energy billing systems to assess AI-generated responses for accuracy and relevance
• Create expert-level training data grounded in real-world tools and workflows used in daily operations
• Provide detailed, actionable feedback on AI outputs to help refine models'' handling of utility processes and customer data
• Communicate findings in clear written form and work independently with AI research teams on asynchronous tasks

• At least 2 years of professional experience in utility metering, customer operations, billing, or related energy functions
• Relevant job titles include Meter Data Analyst, Customer Ops Analyst, Billing Analyst, Energy Accountant, or equivalent roles in the energy industry
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following systems: Oracle MDM, Oracle CC&B, SAP, Power BI
• Strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and asynchronously

• Location: Remote
• Employment type: Part time, hourly contract
• Schedule: Fully remote, flexible, asynchronous schedule with no minimum hour requirement; when participating in an active project most contributors work approximately 5 to 20 hours per week
• Project availability: Placement depends on current project needs; contributors may be considered for future projects as they become available but assignment is not guaranteed

• Up to $85/hr (depending on the project)
