About this role
Apply IT leadership experience to help improve next-generation AI systems through detailed, real-world technical input. This remote contract opportunity focuses on strategic technology scenarios, infrastructure decision-making, and operational best practices. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities- Provide insights on IT strategy, systems architecture planning, and infrastructure optimization.
- Evaluate vendor management and procurement scenarios, including collaboration and third-party system integration.
- Contribute examples and recommendations related to security compliance, risk mitigation, and regulatory standards.
- Review proposed IT solutions and identify gaps or improvement opportunities in architecture and implementation.
- Share practices for technical team leadership, knowledge transfer, mentoring, and upskilling.
- Deliver feedback on documentation, workflows, and process designs to improve clarity, feasibility, and operational efficiency.
- Participate in structured discussions and written assignments that inform AI tools for IT professionals.
- At least 5 years of experience as an IT or Systems Manager, including leadership of technical teams or management of enterprise-scale infrastructure.
- Expertise in IT strategy, systems architecture, and technology roadmapping.
- Experience with vendor management, contract evaluation, and third-party solution integration.
- Knowledge of security compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR, along with risk management practices.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly in writing and conversation.
- Experience mentoring or coaching IT professionals.
- Ability to assess documentation, workflows, and processes from a holistic IT management perspective.
- Remote contract engagement.
- $60 to $75 per hour.
