In-House Counsel for Legal AI Training

Apply your technology-transactions expertise to improve how advanced AI systems interpret contract language, identify legal risk, and support real-world contract review. This part-time, remote contractor role centers on drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining technology agreements while contributing expert judgment to AI training and evaluation.

• Conduct simulated contract negotiations and contract-redlining exercises.
• Review and assess AI responses to contract scenarios, providing precise legal feedback to improve model performance.
• Develop objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for contract-related AI tasks.
• Work with product and research teams to refine data, guidance, and best practices for AI-driven contract review solutions.
• Help shape the training, evaluation, and practical application of AI for legal work.

• At least 3 years of in-house counsel experience focused on technology transactions.
• Experience negotiating master services agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and data processing agreements.
• Strong contract drafting, negotiation, review, and redlining capabilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to turn legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
• Commitment to innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
• Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
