German Language and Literature Expert for AI Model Training

Role Overview

Apply your German linguistic and literary expertise to help evaluate and improve advanced language models. You will assess model-generated German content, curate high-quality linguistic data, and provide feedback that supports AI research and language-model development.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate the quality and accuracy of German text generated by language models across translation, summarization, dialogue, and grammar-correction use cases.
• Edit, refine, and rewrite German content to meet linguistic, cultural, and literary standards.
• Annotate German texts for grammatical, syntactic, semantic, and stylistic features.
• Identify model errors and linguistic gaps, then collaborate with AI researchers to improve German-language performance.
• Provide detailed literary and linguistic feedback to inform ongoing model training and evaluation.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native German fluency, with excellent command of grammar, syntax, and style.
• Professional experience in German literary editing, copywriting, criticism, or NLP-related linguistic annotation.
• Strong understanding of literary complexity, tone, genre-specific conventions, and regional language variation.
• Exceptional attention to detail, including the ability to spot subtle translation errors and unnatural phrasing.
• Strong written communication skills and experience working with remote, distributed teams.
• Interest in AI, translation technology, or language-model research is preferred but not required.

Work Terms

• Remote, hourly engagement.

Compensation

• $50 per hour.
