About this role
Apply hands-on finance expertise to improve how next-generation AI systems learn, reason, and perform. This remote contract role centers on producing precise, real-world financial analysis, feedback, and training data. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities- Review and validate financial data, invoices, and ledgers for accuracy and completeness.
- Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Assess ERP exports, ledgers, and supporting documentation, then provide clear, actionable findings.
- Support and document financial reporting processes, including AP, AR, and month-end close workflows.
- Analyze real and synthetic finance tasks, map supporting evidence to expected outputs, and validate transaction details.
- Communicate complex financial findings clearly and precisely in writing.
- Help calibrate and improve AI training datasets through finance-focused review and process improvement.
- Bachelor''s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, plus at least 4 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills for financial analysis and reporting.
- Experience in accounting operations, AP, AR, financial reporting, reconciliation, or FP&A.
- Ability to review and interpret ERP reports, general ledgers, and related documentation.
- Strong analytical judgment, with the ability to identify and explain financial discrepancies.
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
- High attention to detail, particularly when validating synthetic finance scenarios and documentation.
- Experience in audit, controllership, or finance process optimization.
- Exposure to AI training, data annotation, or finance quality assurance.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
- Remote independent contractor engagement supporting AI training, calibration, and process-improvement work.
