About this role

Role Overview

Electricians apply hands-on electrical expertise to evaluate AI-generated content and produce expert training data that reflects real-world installation, wiring, troubleshooting, and code compliance practices. This project-based, hourly contract work is fully remote and can be completed alongside other commitments. No prior AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review AI-generated responses about electrical tasks for technical accuracy and practical relevance
  • Provide detailed, field-informed feedback to improve AI understanding of real-world electrical workflows
  • Create expert-level training examples based on your experience with electrical installation, wiring, diagnostics, and code interpretation
  • Reference applicable wiring methods, safety practices, and code considerations when evaluating content
  • Use knowledge of tools, schematics, and jobsite procedures to judge feasibility and correctness of AI outputs
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional electrical experience in roles such as Journeyman Electrician, Master Electrician, Licensed Electrician, Industrial Electrician, Commercial Electrician, Residential Electrician, Electrical Contractor, or Electrical Apprentice with 4+ years of field experience
  • Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: electrical installation and wiring, circuit troubleshooting and diagnostics, blueprint and schematic reading, or NEC code compliance
  • Familiarity with tools and software such as multimeters, conduit bending equipment, AutoCAD Electrical, or electrical estimation tools
  • Strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment
Work Terms
  • Part-time, hourly contract engagement
  • Fully remote with a flexible, asynchronous schedule and no minimum hour requirement
  • Typical participation when a project is active is approximately 5, 20 hours per week
  • Placement on specific projects depends on current project needs; contributors may be considered for future projects as they become available
  • This is not a traditional employee role; engagement is contract-based
