About this role

Role Overview

Shape evaluation tasks for AI systems used in enterprise electrical systems and product-design environments. This work reflects the complexity, safety requirements, and production scale of large industrial and technology manufacturers, with scenarios built for either International IEC standards or US NEC, NFPA 70, NESC, and IEEE standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create electrical engineering scenarios covering complex circuit and systems design cycles, multi-stakeholder design reviews, and manufacturing or regulatory certification processes.
  • Develop tasks involving power systems and grid infrastructure, semiconductor and PCB design, embedded systems and firmware, signal processing, and control systems engineering.
  • Incorporate tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence, MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE simulation platforms, and enterprise PLM and EDA systems.
  • Apply circuit analysis and simulation, EMC/EMI compliance, control theory, reliability analysis, and failure mode analysis within the applicable US or International standards framework.
  • Produce reference design specifications, engineering analyses, executive-level technical narratives, and rubrics that distinguish senior enterprise engineering judgment from textbook-level recall.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience as an electrical engineer or engineering lead at a Fortune 500 company or major technology, industrial, or energy organization.
  • Experience owning large-scale circuit designs, power systems, or engineering certification programs.
  • Fluency with enterprise electrical engineering tools and methodologies, along with practical understanding of safety standards, regulatory certification, and cross-functional design governance.
  • Experience with NEC, NFPA 70, IEEE, UL, FCC, IEC, or related standards and certification processes.
  • A US PE credential or international equivalent, such as CEng or EUR ING, is a plus, as is prior authorship of rubrics, engineering-training curricula, or design documentation.

Work Terms

  • Remote, hourly engagement.

Compensation

  • 70 to 80 per hour.

Eligibility

Professionals qualified in the US standards track, the International standards track, or both are encouraged to apply.
