About this role

Role Overview

Education professionals apply classroom, instructional, and archival expertise to create industry-specific prompts and evaluate large language model responses for an ongoing AI research program. You will help improve how AI systems understand real-world professional tasks and language across education-related settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and refine prompts that reflect real-world education tasks and scenarios.
  • Review and evaluate LLM outputs for accuracy, relevance, and appropriateness to the prompt and professional context.
  • Provide detailed feedback and annotations that help researchers improve model behavior.
  • Collaborate asynchronously with research teams, following project guidelines and quality standards.
  • Contribute to a range of tasks that may include content creation, error identification, and contextual clarification across different projects.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in one or more of the following roles: Career/Technical Education Teacher, Middle School; Career/Technical Education Teacher, Secondary School; Special Education Teacher, Preschool; Archivist.
  • Able to perform primarily asynchronous work in coordination with AI research teams.
  • Experience translating professional practice into clear written instructions or evaluations is preferred.
Work Terms
  • Location: Remote, work from anywhere.
  • Employment type: Part-time.
  • Schedule: Flexible hours, asynchronous contribution. There is no minimum hourly commitment.
  • Project placement depends on project availability, projects open periodically throughout the year.
Compensation
  • Pay: Up to $75/hr (depending on the project).
Eligibility
  • F-1 students who are eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible to participate, subject to your school and Designated School Official guidance.
  • If your school requires enrollment in a CPT course for CPT authorization, this program may not meet that requirement.
  • STEM OPT is not supported.
