Economics Professor for AI Training

Economics professors apply their post-secondary teaching experience to evaluate AI-generated economics content and provide expert feedback that improves the model''s understanding of economic concepts, pedagogy, and academic language.

• Review AI-generated responses to economics prompts for accuracy, clarity, and relevance to college-level instruction.
• Design job-related questions and scenarios informed by real classroom practice and learning objectives.
• Provide clear, actionable feedback and corrections to help models better mirror academic standards and teaching approaches.
• Follow written guidelines and use professional judgment to handle sensitive or proprietary material with discretion.
• No prior AI or technical experience is required; work focuses on subject-matter and pedagogical expertise.

• At least 4+ years of professional experience teaching economics at the post-secondary level.
• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering undergraduate or graduate economics courses, such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, or related fields.
• Comfort with written communication, attention to detail, and working independently.
• Reliability, sound professional judgment, and commitment to confidentiality.
• Applicants submit a single application and, if qualified, will be considered for part-time, project-based assignments as new projects become available.

• Engagement type: Independent contractor, not a full-time employee role.
• Location: Fully remote. Must have a reliable internet connection and access to a desktop or laptop computer.
• Schedule: Flexible and asynchronous, no guaranteed minimum hours. Contributors often work approximately 5-20 hours per week when assigned to an active project.
• Duration and availability: Projects run year-round with new opportunities opening periodically across subject areas. Placement and assignment depend on current project needs, and qualified contributors may be considered for future projects as they become available.

• Pay: Up to $120/hr (depending on the project).

• F-1 students who are eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible to participate, but must confirm eligibility with their Designated School Official. If a school requires an official CPT course enrollment, this contract work may not satisfy that requirement.
• STEM OPT is not supported for this work.
