Economics Professor for AI Training

Economics professors review and critique AI-generated economics content to improve its conceptual accuracy, instructional quality, and academic language. This contract role uses your classroom experience to evaluate model outputs, suggest corrections, and help shape AI behavior for post-secondary economics instruction.

• Assess AI-generated responses for accuracy, clarity, relevance, and alignment with undergraduate or graduate economics pedagogy.
• Provide detailed feedback and corrections that reflect real-world classroom practice and academic standards.
• Design or refine job-related prompts and questions that reflect course objectives and typical student misunderstandings.
• Work independently to follow written task guidelines and maintain consistent evaluation standards.

• 4+ years of professional experience teaching economics at the post-secondary level.
• Experience designing and delivering undergraduate or graduate courses, such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, or related fields.
• Roles such as tenured or tenure-track Economics Professor, Associate or Assistant Professor of Economics, adjunct or part-time faculty, visiting professor, or lecturer are appropriate backgrounds for this work.
• Strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and reliable professional judgment.
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive or proprietary material.
• No prior AI or technical experience is required.

• Status: Independent contractor, not a full-time employee.
• Location: Fully remote, work from anywhere with a reliable internet connection and access to a desktop or laptop computer.
• Schedule: Flexible and asynchronous, no minimum hour requirement. Contributors typically work approximately 5 to 20 hours per week when assigned to an active project.
• Duration and availability: Projects run year-round and open periodically across different subject areas. Placement on projects depends on current project needs, with opportunities to be considered for future assignments as they arise.

• Pay rate: Up to $120/hr (depending on the project).

• F-1 students who are eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible to participate. Work with your Designated School Official to confirm eligibility.
• If your school requires enrollment in a CPT course, this contract work may not meet that requirement.
• STEM OPT is not supported for this work.
