Role Overview
Apply careful judgment and domain expertise to review and curate large volumes of documents that train next-generation AI systems. You will verify data quality, protect sensitive information, and produce traceable annotations that shape how models learn, reason, and perform. The work supports a global AI data lab that converts real-world subject matter expertise into high-quality training data and evaluations across domains such as finance, healthcare, and engineering.
Key Responsibilities- Review large volumes of structured and unstructured documents for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Identify and flag data quality issues, inconsistencies, and potential risks involving Personal Identifiable Information, or PII.
- Annotate, classify, and redact sensitive content where required to maintain privacy and compliance standards.
- Follow detailed guidelines, taxonomies, and workflow processes for data categorization and validation.
- Perform quality assurance checks to validate outputs and ensure data integrity.
- Maintain detailed records of reviewed documents and actions taken for traceability and accountability.
- Collaborate with the customer team, delivering clear written and verbal summaries of findings and recommendations.
- Proven experience in document review, auditing, annotation, redaction, or data classification at scale.
- Exceptional attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy in repetitive tasks.
- Familiarity with handling and protecting Personal Identifiable Information, and performing redaction as required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to document findings and communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- Demonstrated ability to follow complex guidelines and adhere to established taxonomies.
- Experience performing QA or validation work on large data sets, balancing efficiency with precision in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in legal, compliance, privacy, auditing, or information security domains.
- Prior experience supporting data-driven AI or machine learning projects.
- Comfort using collaboration tools and digital workflow management platforms.
- Employment type: Independent contractor, remote.
- Workplace: Fully remote collaboration with customer teams as required.
- Pay range: 63 to 119 USD per hour.
- Familiarity with and ability to handle PII is required due to privacy and compliance responsibilities.
