Role Overview
Distribution Ops Analysts apply hands-on experience in asset management, maintenance planning, and grid operations to evaluate AI-generated content, create expert training data, and provide feedback that improves AI understanding of maintenance workflows and reliability engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities- Review AI-generated responses related to distribution operations, maintenance planning, and reliability engineering for technical accuracy and practical relevance.
- Use your daily-work knowledge of asset management and grid operations to create expert-level training examples and annotations.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to help refine AI outputs so they match real-world workflows and decision making.
- Work asynchronously with research teams, documenting edge cases, common errors, and areas where AI guidance needs adjustment.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in asset management, maintenance reliability, or grid operations.
- Relevant roles include Maintenance Planner, Reliability Engineer, Outage Coordinator, Distribution Ops Analyst, or equivalent positions in the energy industry.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following tools: IBM Maximo, Oracle OMS, AVEVA PI, ArcGIS.
- Strong written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in an asynchronous environment.
- No prior AI experience required.
- Location: Fully remote.
- Employment type: PART_TIME.
- Schedule: Flexible, asynchronous work, with no minimum hour requirement. Most contributors work approximately 5 to 20 hours per week when participating in an active project.
- Engagement model: Ongoing, project-based contract work. Placement on projects depends on current project needs, and contributors may be considered for future projects as they become available.
