Role Overview

Analyze and review content for security vulnerabilities to help AI models recognize and classify threats. This short-term, high-impact engagement focuses on pattern recognition and vulnerability classification in an AI context, using systems programming and security expertise to improve model detection and reasoning. The engagement begins with a paid work trial and may extend into an approximately 2-month project based on performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and review content for security vulnerabilities, with emphasis on pattern recognition and classification relevant to AI systems.
  • Apply systems programming and security concepts to craft, solve, and review problems with real-world applicability.
  • Collaborate asynchronously with a distributed team of domain experts to refine detection and reasoning approaches.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of programming experience, preferably in low-level languages such as C, C++, or Java.
  • Familiarity with security vulnerability classification frameworks, for example OWASP, CVEs, or similar.
  • Understanding of core cybersecurity concepts, including web security and common attack vectors.
  • Strong attention to detail and pattern recognition skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication in English.
Work Terms
  • Location: Remote.
  • Engagement type: Hourly contract.
  • Starts with a paid work trial scheduled for mid-April, exact dates to be confirmed closer to the start.
  • Successful trial may lead to an approximately 2-month project extension.
  • Work is performed asynchronously with other contributors.
  • Paid onboarding: candidates will be compensated for up to 1 hour that covers the screening interview and any required onboarding videos if hired.
Compensation
  • Pay rate: 70 to 90 hourly.

  • Applicants must currently be based in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, or New Zealand.
  • Candidates must be able to pass an enhanced background check.
