Construction Project Manager

Construction project managers and cost estimation professionals use their retail construction expertise to evaluate AI-generated content and improve how AI understands construction workflows, cost planning, and architectural plans.

This ongoing, project-based hourly contract work can be performed alongside research, teaching, postdoctoral work, or industry employment. No prior AI experience is required.

• Use hands-on experience in project cost estimation and architectural plan review to create expert-level training data.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy and relevance.
• Provide feedback that improves AI understanding of retail construction workflows and cost planning practices.
• Apply practical knowledge of the tools and workflows used in daily construction and estimation work.

• At least 2 years of professional experience in cost estimation or construction project management.
• Experience as a Cost Estimator, Construction Project Manager, or in an equivalent retail-industry role.
• Hands-on experience with detailed cost estimation and architectural plan review.
• Strong written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and asynchronously with AI research teams.

• Remote, flexible, asynchronous work with no minimum hour requirement.
• Contributors typically work approximately 5 to 20 hours per week while assigned to an active project.
• Project placement depends on current needs, and candidates may be considered for future projects as they become available.

Up to $80/hr (depending on the project).

F-1 students who are eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible for projects. Consult your Designated School Official to confirm eligibility. If your school requires a CPT course, this work may not meet that requirement. STEM OPT is not supported.
