About this role

Role Overview

Apply commercial insurance expertise to develop realistic client-advisory and placement scenarios that help improve AI reasoning about commercial insurance purchasing and risk transfer. You will assess model-generated work against established industry standards and provide practical, written feedback for a research team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create scenarios covering exposure identification, coverage recommendations, submissions, marketing, placement, renewals, and client service.
  • Develop broker-quality work products, including coverage comparisons, renewal strategies, proposal analyses, exposure summaries, and client recommendations.
  • Write reference responses that reflect experienced commercial brokerage and risk-advisory practice.
  • Evaluate AI-generated responses using structured rubrics for accuracy, completeness, client suitability, and practical usefulness.
  • Identify missed material exposures, unsuitable coverage recommendations, confusion between carrier and broker responsibilities, and failures to account for client-specific constraints.
  • Provide written feedback used to improve model behavior.
  • Participate in onboarding office hours and calibration sessions.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in commercial insurance brokerage, risk advisory, placement, production, or account management.
  • Direct experience serving commercial clients in at least one segment, including small business, middle market, large or national accounts, or specialty risks.
  • Working knowledge of submissions, quotes, binders, policy comparisons, coverage gaps, renewals, and broker-carrier-client communications.
  • Ability to distinguish a broker''s advisory obligations from a carrier''s underwriting and claims responsibilities.
  • Excellent written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to explain insurance concepts and recommendations clearly and practically.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPCU, CIC, CRM, ARM, or a comparable insurance designation.
  • Wholesale, E&S, Lloyd''s, or specialty-placement experience.
  • Experience with captives, large deductibles, loss-sensitive programs, or multinational accounts.
  • Experience serving multiple industries or account segments.
  • An active or previously held producer license.

Work Terms

  • Remote work available to applicants located in the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom.
  • Per-task engagement.
  • Minimum commitment of 20 hours per week, with 40 or more hours preferred.
  • The role starts immediately, and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Compensation

  • $800 per task.
