About this role
Help strengthen the cloud infrastructure behind advanced generative AI models. In this full-time role, you will apply production Kubernetes, AWS, Infrastructure-as-Code, and CI/CD expertise to improve the quality of AI training and inference infrastructure data.
Key Responsibilities- Help research and engineering teams address knowledge gaps in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes operations, and Infrastructure-as-Code to improve AI model performance.
- Create challenging, domain-relevant technical tasks and accurate, well-structured solutions covering cluster diagnosis, AWS service integration, and infrastructure automation.
- Evaluate infrastructure engineering tasks and solutions, providing clear written technical feedback.
- Develop detailed guidelines and evaluation rubrics for cluster failure diagnosis, IaC design quality, and CI/CD pipeline reasoning.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to maintain consistent, accurate training data.
- 4+ years of dedicated professional experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, site reliability, or platform engineering at a recognized top-tier organization.
- Hands-on production Kubernetes operations experience, including diagnosing and repairing cluster failures.
- Production Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Terraform and/or AWS CDK.
- Direct production experience integrating AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
- Experience building and owning CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrable career progression.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical decisions clearly.
- Remote role for candidates located in the United States.
- W-2 hourly employment, with potential placement on a leading AI lab''s extended workforce.
- Full-time weekday commitment of at least 40 hours per week.
$75 to $110 per hour.
