Claims Specialist for AI Model Evaluation

Claims Specialists apply their claims investigation and resolution expertise to review AI-generated content and provide feedback that improves AI understanding of claims processes, policy language, and customer communication. This is a part-time, project-based, remote contract role that can be performed alongside your primary employment.

• Use real-world experience investigating, evaluating, and resolving claims to assess AI-generated responses for accuracy and relevance to actual claims handling and customer interactions.
• Design job-related questions and review AI answers to help the system reflect proper claims processes and policy interpretations.
• Provide clear, actionable feedback and examples to guide model improvements.
• No prior AI or technical experience is required; work follows written guidelines and review templates.

• At least 4 years of professional experience in claims handling or a closely related role.
• Hands-on experience investigating claims, interpreting policy coverage, and communicating decisions to claimants or stakeholders.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, follow written guidelines, and apply professional judgment.
• High standard of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive or proprietary information.
• Typical backgrounds include Claims Specialist or Claims Representative, Claims Adjuster (property, casualty, auto, health, disability, or workers compensation), Claims Examiner or Claims Analyst, or senior customer service professionals with a strong claims focus.

• Engagement type, independent contractor, not a full-time employee role.
• Fully remote work from anywhere with a reliable internet connection and access to a desktop or laptop computer.
• Schedule is flexible and asynchronous, with no required minimum hours. Many contributors work approximately 5 to 20 hours per week when assigned to an active project.
• The program runs year-round, and projects open periodically across areas of expertise. Placement on projects depends on current project needs, with opportunities to be considered for future projects as they become available.
• This role is expressly project-based and intended to be compatible with existing employment.

Hourly contract work. Compensation: Up to $75/hr (depending on the project).

• F-1 students who are eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible to participate, subject to your school and Designated School Official guidance.
• If your school requires enrollment in a CPT course, the program may not meet that requirement. STEM OPT is not supported.
• Confirm eligibility with your Designated School Official before applying if you are on F-1 status.

• When selected, begin assigned tasks, submit reviews according to project instructions, and receive payment as specified in the project agreement.
