Role Overview
Capture high-quality screenshots of professional CAD applications while performing realistic expert workflows, mark up interactive user interface elements precisely, and write concise, natural-language task instructions that reflect actual expert usage.
Key Responsibilities- Capture clear, production-ready screenshots from professional CAD software while performing realistic, expert-level tasks.
- Annotate interactive UI elements accurately and consistently, including buttons, menus, panels, toolbars, and dialogs.
- Write concise, natural-language task instructions that describe how an expert uses the CAD tools to complete each task.
- Participate in an initial pilot phase, respond to feedback, and iterate on submissions until quality standards are met before scaling to full production.
- Hands-on, professional experience using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA, Revit, Siemens NX, or similar tools.
- Strong working knowledge of day-to-day CAD workflows and interface behavior.
- High attention to detail and ability to follow precise capture and annotation guidelines.
- Clear written English for authoring task instructions.
- Reliable access to the relevant CAD software required for screenshot capture.
- Location requirement: North America, United States or Canada.
- Employment type: hourly engagement.
- Project structure: begins with a pilot phase during which initial submissions are closely reviewed; successful completion of pilot quality requirements is required to ramp into ongoing production work.
- Onboarding: detailed capture guidelines and onboarding materials are provided after you accept the engagement.
Hourly rate between 70 and 90 per hour.
Eligibility- Must be able to work from the United States or Canada.
- Must have reliable access to the necessary CAD software to perform screenshot captures.
After you accept the engagement, you will receive detailed onboarding materials and capture guidelines. During the pilot phase your initial submissions will be reviewed and you will receive feedback to iterate until you meet the quality standards required for full production work.
