About this role
Capture high-quality screenshots of professional CAD applications during realistic, expert workflows, annotate interactive user interface elements, and produce clear, natural-language task instructions that reflect actual expert usage. The engagement begins with a pilot phase in which initial submissions are closely reviewed for quality before you ramp into full production. Detailed onboarding materials and capture guidelines will be provided after you accept.
Key Responsibilities- Capture high-resolution screenshots of professional CAD software while performing realistic, expert-level tasks and workflows.
- Annotate interactive UI elements such as buttons, menus, panels, toolbars, and dialogs, applying guidelines consistently and accurately.
- Write concise, natural-language task instructions that describe how an expert uses the software to accomplish each task.
- Incorporate feedback during the pilot phase and revise captures and annotations to meet quality standards before scaling to full production.
- Hands-on, professional experience with CAD software, for example AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA, Revit, Siemens NX, or similar tools.
- Strong familiarity with day-to-day workflows and the user interface of your CAD tools.
- High attention to detail and the ability to follow precise annotation and capture guidelines.
- Clear written English suitable for authoring task instructions.
- Reliable access to the relevant CAD software required to capture screenshots.
Location requirement, North America, United States and Canada. Engagement is hourly. The project starts with a pilot phase during which initial submissions will be reviewed closely; after meeting quality expectations you will ramp into full production. Detailed onboarding materials and capture guidelines will be shared once you accept the assignment.
Compensation$70.00 to $90.00 per hour, paid on an hourly basis.
Eligibility- Must be located in the United States or Canada.
- Must have reliable access to the CAD software you will use to capture screenshots.
- Must be able to produce clear written English instructions.
After you accept the assignment you will receive the onboarding materials and capture guidelines needed to begin the pilot phase. During the pilot you will submit initial captures for review and iterate on feedback until quality standards are met, at which point you will move into full production.
