Apply bioinformatics and medicinal chemistry expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through rigorous, real-world scientific input. This remote contractor role focuses on improving how models learn, reason, and perform, and does not require prior AI experience.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze complex medicinal chemistry datasets using advanced bioinformatics methods.
- Provide detailed scientific content and expertise to support AI model development and training.
- Curate, annotate, and validate datasets for drug discovery and molecular analysis.
- Evaluate and synthesize findings from biological, chemical, and clinical data sources.
- Advise on experimental design and data interpretation in medicinal chemistry.
- Review AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy, relevance, and reliability.
- Deliver thorough written feedback and actionable recommendations to improve model performance.
- Advanced degree, such as a PhD or MSc, in bioinformatics, computational biology, medicinal chemistry, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of medicinal chemistry, including structure-activity relationships and drug design principles.
- Experience working with and interpreting large-scale omics or cheminformatics datasets.
- Familiarity with bioinformatics tools, databases, and programming languages such as Python, R, RDKit, or KNIME.
- Clear scientific communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts.
- Research experience at the intersection of biology, chemistry, and data science.
- Experience collaborating on multidisciplinary or remote projects is an advantage.
- Remote independent contractor engagement.
- $90 to $120 per hour.
