Role Overview
Apply bioinformatics and medicinal chemistry expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality scientific analysis, data curation, and model feedback. This remote contractor opportunity focuses on improving how AI systems learn, reason, and perform using real-world input. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze complex medicinal chemistry datasets using advanced bioinformatics methods.
- Provide detailed scientific content and input to support AI model development and training.
- Curate, annotate, and validate datasets used in drug discovery and molecular analysis.
- Evaluate and synthesize findings across biological, chemical, and clinical data sources.
- Advise on experimental design and data interpretation in medicinal chemistry.
- Assess AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy, relevance, and reliability.
- Deliver comprehensive written feedback and actionable recommendations to improve model performance.
Qualifications
- Medicinal chemistry expertise is required.
- Advanced degree, such as a PhD or MSc, in bioinformatics, computational biology, medicinal chemistry, or a related discipline.
- In-depth knowledge of medicinal chemistry, including structure-activity relationships and drug design principles.
- Experience handling and interpreting large-scale omics or cheminformatics datasets.
- Familiarity with common bioinformatics software, databases, and programming languages, such as Python, R, RDKit, and KNIME.
- Strong scientific communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Research experience spanning biology, chemistry, and data science.
- Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary or remote project environments is advantageous.
Work Terms
- Remote independent contractor engagement.
Compensation
- $90 to $120 per hour.
