About this role
Billing analysts apply utility metering, customer operations, and energy billing expertise to assess AI-generated content and improve how AI understands utility workflows and customer data management.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy and relevance using practical knowledge of energy-industry tools and workflows.
- Create expert-level training data and provide detailed feedback grounded in hands-on experience with utility metering, customer operations, and energy billing systems.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in utility metering, customer operations, or related energy functions.
- Experience in roles such as Meter Data Analyst, Customer Ops Analyst, Billing Analyst, Energy Accountant, or an equivalent energy-industry position.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: Oracle MDM, Oracle CC&B, SAP, or Power BI.
- Strong written communication, close attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and asynchronously with AI research teams.
- No prior AI experience is required.
- Remote, part-time independent contractor engagement.
- Flexible, asynchronous schedule with no minimum hour requirement.
- Contributors typically work approximately 5 to 20 hours per week while assigned to an active project.
- Assignment to projects depends on current needs; qualified applicants may be considered for future projects as they become available.
Up to $85/hr (depending on the project).
