Role Overview
Apply your backend engineering expertise to provide high-quality, real-world input that helps train and evaluate next-generation AI systems. No prior AI experience is required, your C#/.NET and database expertise is the focus.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain reliable backend services and APIs using C# and .NET frameworks.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Maintain high standards for code quality, reliability, and security.
- Improve existing backend processes for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues in production and staging environments.
- Document technical specifications and backend architecture for effective team collaboration.
- Help improve development processes and engineering best practices.
Qualifications
- Expert-level proficiency with C# and the .NET ecosystem.
- Strong MySQL experience, including schema design and query optimization.
- Solid knowledge of server-side logic, RESTful API development, and integration patterns.
- A record of producing clean, maintainable, well-documented code.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative and clear working style.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment and manage priorities effectively.
- Proactive problem-solving approach and commitment to continuous learning.
- Experience developing and deploying cloud-hosted applications, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, is preferred.
- Experience with distributed teams, Agile methodologies, or high-growth, innovation-focused environments is preferred.
Work Terms
- Remote contract engagement.
Compensation
- $60 to $110 per hour.
