Support customer data operations that help improve advanced AI systems. In this junior, full-time engineering role, you will partner with Forward Deployed Engineers to run defined data-ingestion workflows, ensure reliable transfers, and communicate clearly throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities- Size, prepare, and transfer customer datasets.
- Execute and monitor data-ingestion workflows.
- Validate transfer results and identify discrepancies.
- Communicate progress, blockers, and follow-up needs with customers and internal teams.
- Maintain clear operational documentation and handoffs.
- Identify workflow gaps or unexpected behavior and escalate issues when needed.
- Handle sensitive customer data carefully.
- Strong ownership, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Technical aptitude and the ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, APIs, or data workflows.
- Clear, concise written communication.
- Ability to follow runbooks and recognize when an issue falls outside established procedures.
- Sound judgment when working with customer data and production systems.
- Availability for scoped hourly work.
- Experience with large datasets, data pipelines, cloud storage, or data-transfer workflows.
- Experience with command-line tools, Git, or Linux environments.
- Exposure to ETL, data ingestion, validation, or QA workflows.
- Experience debugging technical issues through logs and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with JSON, CSV, or Parquet data formats.
- Experience in a startup, technical operations, implementation, or customer-facing engineering environment.
- Remote, full-time position.
- $40 to $60 per hour.
