About this role

Role Overview

Advertising Sales Representatives use their client relationship and advertising campaign experience to evaluate AI-generated advertising content and provide feedback that improves AI understanding of advertising workflows, client communication, and campaign execution. This is a project-based, hourly role you can do alongside your primary employment, not a traditional full-time sales position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply real-world advertising sales experience to design job-relevant questions and tasks for AI evaluation.
  • Review AI-generated responses for accuracy, relevance, and fidelity to real advertising sales processes, client acquisition, and revenue-generation activities.
  • Provide clear, detailed feedback that reflects actual campaign workflows, negotiation practices, and client relationship management.
  • Follow written guidelines and maintain professional judgment when assessing content, including handling sensitive or proprietary scenarios with discretion.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 4+ years of professional experience in advertising sales, media sales, or closely related client-facing revenue roles.
  • Hands-on experience selling advertising space or time, managing accounts, negotiating deals, and maintaining ongoing client relationships.
  • Strong written communication skills and careful attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently, following written instructions, and exercising professional discretion with confidential information.
  • No prior AI or technical experience required.
Work Terms
  • Employment type: Part-time, independent contractor.
  • Location: Fully remote. Must have a reliable internet connection and access to a desktop or laptop computer.
  • Schedule: Flexible and asynchronous, with no minimum hour requirement. Many contributors work approximately 5 to 20 hours per week when assigned to an active project.
  • Duration and availability: Projects run year-round and open periodically across different areas of expertise. Placement on projects depends on current project needs; qualified applicants may be considered for future projects as they become available.
  • This engagement is designed to be compatible with other primary employment.
Compensation

Up to $75/hr (depending on the project)

Eligibility
  • F-1 students with eligibility for CPT or OPT may be eligible to participate; consult your Designated School Official to confirm your specific situation. If your school requires enrollment in a CPT course, this role may not meet that requirement. STEM OPT is not supported.
  • Engagement is on an independent contractor basis; this is not an employee role and does not include employee benefits.
Application Process
  • Create an account and submit your application materials.
  • Verify your identity as part of onboarding for project participation.
  • Complete onboarding for relevant projects and follow any required instructions to join assignments.
  • Apply once; if qualified you will be considered for part-time, project-based assignments as new projects become available, then begin work and earn on an hourly basis.
