Role Overview
Anesthesiologists apply perioperative anesthesia expertise to evaluate and improve AI model outputs related to anesthesia care. In this temporary, hourly program you will review AI-generated clinical content, create prompts that reflect real-world anesthesia practice, and provide clear, structured feedback to help models better represent anesthesia tasks and terminology. No prior AI experience is required.
Key Responsibilities- Design clinical prompts and scenarios that reflect anesthesia practice.
- Assess AI-generated responses for clinical accuracy, safety, relevance, and correct use of professional terminology.
- Provide detailed, structured feedback and annotations to guide model improvements.
- Apply clinical judgment informed by duties such as administering and monitoring anesthesia, managing airway and life support systems, coordinating anesthetic plans with surgical teams, supervising post-procedure recovery, and educating trainees and staff.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as an anesthesiologist or in closely related anesthesia practice.
- Clinical experience that may include administering and monitoring anesthesia during procedures, managing airway and life support, selecting appropriate anesthetic methods in collaboration with surgeons, overseeing patient recovery, and teaching anesthesia techniques and emergency protocols.
- Comfort working asynchronously and independently on remote tasks.
- Engagement type: Part time, remote, asynchronous.
- Schedule: Flexible hours with no minimum commitment; most contributors average 5 to 20 hours per week.
- Primary activities: developing prompts for AI models and evaluating model responses; work is completed independently on your own schedule.
- Placement into specific projects depends on project availability; projects run year-round and open periodically across specialties.

Eligibility and Work Authorization- F-1 students with valid CPT or OPT authorization may be eligible. Confirm eligibility with your Designated School Official before applying.
- If your school requires enrollment in a CPT course to authorize off-campus work, this remote project may not satisfy that requirement.
- STEM OPT is not supported for this work.
