About this role

Role Overview

Anesthesiologists can apply their clinical expertise to evaluate AI-generated content, develop field-relevant prompts, and provide structured feedback that improves how AI models understand anesthesia practice and workplace language. No AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate AI model outputs and anesthesia-related content for quality and relevance.
  • Create prompts that reflect real-world anesthesia work.
  • Provide clear, structured feedback to strengthen model performance.
  • Draw on experience administering and monitoring anesthesia, managing life-support and airway systems, supporting patient safety and comfort, collaborating with surgical teams on anesthetic methods and recovery, and educating staff or residents on anesthesia and emergency-response practices.

Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of professional anesthesiology experience.
  • Ability to complete asynchronous work independently and collaborate with leading AI labs.

Work Terms

  • Remote, asynchronous, temporary hourly work.
  • Flexible schedule with no minimum commitment. Most participants average 5 to 20 hours per week.
  • Projects are available year-round and open periodically across areas of expertise.
  • Project placement depends on availability. Candidates not matched to a current project may be considered for future projects.

Compensation

Up to $300/hr (depending on the project).

Eligibility

  • F-1 students eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible for projects. Consult your Designated School Official to confirm eligibility.
  • If your school requires a CPT course, this work may not satisfy that requirement.
  • STEM OPT is not supported.
