Psychiatrists can apply their clinical expertise to contribute to AI research projects that enhance the understanding of mental health practices. This role involves evaluating AI-generated content related to your field, providing structured feedback, and helping to refine AI models to better reflect workplace tasks and language. Opportunities are available year-round, with projects opening periodically across various specialties.Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI model outputs and assess their relevance to psychiatric practices.
- Develop prompts that accurately represent your professional field for AI training.
- Provide clear, structured feedback to improve AI understanding of mental health tasks.
- Collaborate asynchronously with leading AI labs to enhance project outcomes.
- Engage in flexible, independent work from any location.
- A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in psychiatry or related fields.
- Experience administering psychotherapeutic treatments and medications for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans.
- Experience conducting diagnostic tests and providing expert testimony on mental health evaluations.
- Willingness to participate in asynchronous work with AI research teams.
- This is a remote position with flexible hours, averaging 5-20 hours per week.
- No minimum commitment is required, allowing for adaptability based on project availability.

EligibilityF-1 students eligible for CPT or OPT may qualify for projects. Consult with your Designated School Official to confirm eligibility. Note that STEM OPT is not supported.
